cargo-audit
Open Sourcecargo-audit scans a Cargo.lock for crates with security vulnerabilities reported to the RustSec Advisory Database. Run it at the project root or in CI before a release; cargo audit bin checks compiled binaries, and an optional fix feature can update vulnerable requirements in Cargo.toml.
About
cargo-audit is the RustSec Cargo subcommand for auditing a Cargo.lock against the RustSec Advisory Database. Run it at the repository root or from CI. With the fix feature enabled it can update vulnerable dependency requirements in Cargo.toml. cargo audit bin scans compiled binaries and is fully accurate when those binaries were built with cargo-auditable.
